Questions
How is GPA worked out?
Each class's grade points (A is 4.0, B+ is 3.3 and so on) are multiplied by its credits, added up, and divided by the total credits. An A in a 3-credit class, a B+ in a 4-credit class and a C in a 1-credit class give (12 + 13.2 + 2) ÷ 8 = 3.4.
My school's scale is different. What do I change?
Edit the grade points line: for example, some schools give an A+ 4.3, and some don't use minus grades at all. Your school's catalog or registrar page lists its scale.
How do I work out my overall GPA?
Type your GPA so far and the credits it covers, from your transcript or degree audit. This term is added to it, weighted by credits.
Do pass/fail or withdrawn classes count?
Usually not: most schools leave them out of GPA. Don't add them here, or leave their grade empty.
Is anything saved?
No. It's worked out on this page and nothing is sent or saved.
